A question about orchestral arrangements
Hello!
Does anyone know which Stratovarius album has a symphony orchestra playing ? A friend of mine knows a guy who played french horn on one of the albums, but wasn't sure of the exact album / song.
I'd like to know which album / song that was. Unfortunately, I don't have all the albums with me now, but I guess it would be from one of the Elements albums ?
So I'd appreciate very much if somebody could check it out for me in the album booklet..

Er, well Destiny, Infinite and Elements part 1 and 2 had full orchestras in there I think.
Any more information? Song title or something?

I will check all the cd album booklets in the morning if nobody has done by then. I can't now as they are in my sons bedroom and he's sleeping.

Elements Pt. 1 is the most symphonic-orchestral of them all

Re: A question about orchestral arrangements
On INFINITE VISIONS it shows a live orchestra(I think it was a children's orchestra of gifted young people) playing some segments for the EPISODE Album. Babylon and Season of Change songs. Don't believe me? Then, watch it for yourself!
But, if you are discussing symphonic influences, then Elements1, in my opiniion, followed by Infinite has more orchestra in the mixing.

Re: A question about orchestral arrangements
I think Strato only had a full orchestra in Elements-albums. At least those the only albums that have a name of an orchestra on the booklet (by the way, wasn't Joensuu city orchestra the orchestra Tuomo Lassila played in?) On previous albums they only had some strings.

Infinite and Destiny both had pretty much a full orchestra, albeit a smaller one. But yes Elements were the only ones that had a full 'named' orchestra.Korppi- wrote:I think Strato only had a full orchestra in Elements-albums.
