One more Stratovarius show, in Moscow, Russia, has been confirmed: May 29, 2009 at the CDK MAI in Moscow. http://www.cdk.ru/

We have also confirmed festival shows in Finland, Spain and France next year, and are planning to come to many more other places too, but it's not possible to put any dates up yet. So please check back for more tour news!

nice, but come to VA or Chile. Either way is fine!

I think all three of the Americas are being considered

Donno about the moon... I heard there is sometimes not so good atmosphere at the gigs there.

A tour of the outer planets is in the works though.

I live in the Detroit Michigan area, In Flames and Bodom have played twice here, and Sonata/Nightwish did a show too. I could only attend Gigantour (Bodom and In Flames) and then In Flames' show, I never actually got to see In Flames play, because of poor scheduling and too many opening acts, but for for crazy vikings, there is a fan base.


If you play in North America, please hit up Michigan (United States)
Ann Arbor, Detroit, and East Lansing all have some good venues. If you guys toured with Sonata or Bodom, you might be able to fill DTE in Clarkston, it's a great venue, I'm assuming you guys know of the prog-trio "Rush", and their favorite venue in the United States is the DTE music arena, (Formerly known as Pine Knob).

When I saw Bodom there, there was a section of the pavilion open, and Alexi wasn't pleased ("What the fuck is this about?") It's built into the bottom of a hill, if you guys could book that, you'd have a lot of fun there.

East Lansing/Lansing is a central location for the state however, so you could get fans from Grand Rapids and Detroit to both come.

Come to China please! You had toured Hong Kong and Taiwan, but never come to Mainland China.

BTW, Nightwish, Edguy, Dark Tranquillity, Dream Theater, Arch Enemy, Vision Divine, Skylark, etc........They all had toured Mainland China. And on February 15, 2009, Symphony X will tour here.

Are you planning that big Stratovarius show there that you were talking about 5 years ago? The one where you'd get all the Stratovarius fans around the World by plane, ships (boats!) and buses, a free show with hundredthousands of StratoFans.
