As a matter of fact, it's now 100% sure the album is not going to be called "King of Nothing". :) The song with the same name will still be there though.

More news soon, also exciting news regarding more live dates!

I liked "King of Nothing" as a name but i'm sure strato will come up with a better one..my only hope is that it isn't something cheesy which emphasizes the rebirth of the band :? :D

Right! Because Stratovarius was not and won't be dead ever. Because Stratovarius lives in the heart of each member of the band (past and present) and of us, fans. :)

It was actually never gone.
I agree with you. I didn't like King of Nothing for the title. Some people would interpret it as a reference to TT and I wouldn't like it at all. I mean, I wouldn't like their comeback be peppered with polemic because of it.

Yes, Stratovarius wasn't dead. Stratovarius will never die. It's like energy, it can't be destroyed, just transformed.

Jens, Kotipelto, Jörg, Lauri and Matias will still playing at the age of 80-90 years old (more or less), I can see it

but maybe...if the rhythm now is something like ...papapapapapapa...then it will be pa...............pa...........pa............pa...........

The others are going to have to live a long, long time to still be playing when Matias is 90

It's possible, but what are the chances of any of them still being able to play at 200? :P

(I just got a mental image of a 200 year old Lauri...scary stuff  )

As long as the name of the album represents what is in the album's music, then I do not mind what the final name is. I mean, I have so many albums where the title of the album really has nothing to do with what is actually in the music itself. It's just a cheap marketing technique (that works).

Like, if the new album's central theme is about beating the crap out of a homeless man, then I would want the name of the album to be about that. But if it is about beating the crap out of a homeless man, and the name of the album is "My Dog Puked This Morning", then I will be detracted a little bit. If any of this makes sense.

Rumor has it, the song "King of Nothing" is about the declining profitability of the American fast food industry :bigok: :D
