The song @ about 1 minute of the song is so written by Jens or at least has quite a lot of influence by him. And the part at 2:20 reminded me of some of Jens' solo material. AMAZING stuff!

Well, to me, the video is very nice. Music and everything... I see the guys having fun, but still I can't help myself, it lacks some spirit... it bears some marks of dullness in my opinion. Not regarding the music, not shooting. Just the atmosphere.
Don't blame me, I just wanted to say this. Im looking forward to hear the album.

Mystical, that lack maybe is in your mind (don't get me wrong). You know, when you are used to see a band with a line-up and now you see another, these kind of things you are feeling are normal sometimes.

Wait man, wait and see. They are fantastic and maybe that "lack" will dissapear for you, believe me.

I had that feelings some months ago, but not now.

Lauri is my new idol for sure! Seems to be a real funny guy!
I really hope that the last song is a song that will end up on the album. Sounds really good!

plus that this band played a very structured kind of music and without big changes album to album (except "stratovarius").
This album means so much in the fact that Stratovarius (and TT) is open to a new world, and for me is an amazing feeling

I believe that Polaris will certainly be a radical departure from the previous self-titled Stratovarius.

If some of the newer tracks sound a bit frantic it would not be a bad thing- since lots of good metal could easily fall under that description. Moreover, these guys probably have a lot of pent up energy, ideas, and expressions that otherwise might have never made it onto a Strato release if Tolkki was still at the helm.

But, people, which are the main differences you can find by listening/viewing to the video? I said it seems we are gonna have more keyboards because well, we can hear a lot of keyboard in the video. And faster guitars, because fast guitar is sounding too in the video. Well, there are some slow sounds too...

But, what do you think about the whole thing?

Like someone said, not only it sounds better than any RR song, also it seems to have the classic strato sound.

Although I think that without Tolkki this can't be stratovarius, this sounds really really well!

I would also like to mark the day I saw that video to be the first day I've ever seen Jens' teeth.

I own almost every Yngwie album, and I've never looked inside a single one of the booklets, and I've never looked at old band photos. xD

I saw Jens in the Lock Up the Wolves album booklet by Dio...but that's the only part of the album I remember Jens being in, because I certainly didn't hear him in the music. Way to shaft one of the hottest keyboardists of the time, Dio. :x

Haha, I noticed that too. Jens, would you be kind enough to tell us in which songs you actually played anything. Or did you?
