Very nice videos, thanks
I would like to go on a Stratovarius show some day in Europe, there people are so different & they play in little places, the audience stay very close of the band, when they play here the places are much more bigger & we stay far far away from the stage

The Dublin show was great, the band were on top form, and Timo's voice was perfect.
Mattias is a great guitarist but did seem pretty nervous, but I reckon I would have felt the exact same in his shoes; he did great.
The setlist was fantastic, pretty much the same as everywhere else I think, but with Visions and without Higher we go.
Winter Skies was a highlight, I did'nt like the song when I heard it first on Tuesday, but live it really came to life.
I met Timo afterwards, and got a photograph + Infite signed, which was great.

The rest of the guys just rushed past us, they did'nt seem to want to stop. But hey, great night!
And I got a t-shirt, which cost €20, which is very cheap for at an Irish gig!

Visions (the "second" part):

I don't like the solos of Black Diamond and Visions by Matias. I hope he will improve with time.

I liked them, it is nicer to hear Matias´s touch in those solos than him copying TT´s ones

I thought he nailed the solo of Kiss Of Judas perfectly.

Yes and the other ones too, but the solo of Black Diamond and Visions for me is not good. And it's not because of his touch, it's because is making
"another" solos. I suppose because is improving step by step, you know he have now a lot of work with the old songs and it's not easy as he said in the interview.

I was hoping Matias becomes a little more expressive and more emotional in his playing as he gets more experience. Right now, he just feels like a robot. I also can't stand his solos for many of the older songs, which feel out of place.
Don't get me wrong, he's an amazing guitarist, but I am not sold on him live yet.

Yeah same here. But it requires a certain type of personality to be able to play very emotionally. Usually a very good shredder can not put too much emotion in playing. Or then it requires sort of humbleness.
Matias does a wonderful job in shredding and has a very clear, precise and clean style. Much cleaner than that of Tolkki's and his solos are a bit more technically complex and more modern. Many like it but for me he uses too much tremolo (whammy bar or whatever) because I think it makes the guitar sound wire thin. He is truly a very modern techical player. But as usually the emotion is lost.
It might come with age though
