No. Hell no.
Stratovarius have enough double-bass speedy songs in the setlist. Winter Skies is utterly brilliant live, even with very few of the fans able to sing along. At a festival, it'll be a huge hit. It's a "Get your lighters out" song, which every band needs in their live show.

this UK setlist is probably not the setlist that they are going to play in other countries where they have been before

They will get round to playing all songs from Polaris soon enough

, just need to do their fair share of touring first, as a few places they are touring are still yet the hear the classics

While I love When Mountains Fall, the lyrics seem disjointed (again)

NO Winter Skies is wonderful, but they could play Forever is Today instead of Speed of light & or Kiss of Judas!

BIG NO! Kick out that boring Winter Skies song. Speed of Light and Kiss of Judas have to stay.

I utterly despise Winter Skies (and all of the Jens songs on the album). It's the most uninspired and dull song on the album. The piano portion is fine (though also very unoriginal), but the rest, in my opinion, is fucking horrible. Would MUCH prefer Forever is Today over that.

No one has done it that exact way before, yet it is unoriginal? I guess I have to rethink my definition of original.

It’s unoriginal in the way that kittens are still cats, yet original in the way that each kitten has its own DNA.

If you really have to rethink something, maybe you should rethink the senseless, unavailing tripe you just posted

Well the guy is using it in a way that is very shallow and does not pay attention to details, yes the song is not the first one to have that style of piano playing, but there are no other songs that have THAT piano playing.

You obviously don't know much about how people use the English language. Not every word is meant to be taken literally.
You're a fucking joke, I tell you. I swear it.

On a different note, what are some pieces that you would call original from the last few years?
