Yes, completely true. This guy is really fantastic. His songs rules and are very emotional/technical. And he is funny and is having a lot of fun in Stratovarius. It is fresh and new energy.

I'm always reading in a lot of forums opinions about Polaris and a lot of people is really happy to know that Lauri can make that fantastic songs for Stratovarius. Fits a lot.

Thanks for pointing them out, completely different to what I might have expected, going by the tracks Lauri written for Polaris. I listened to it a few times now and definatly will buy the albums. The MySpace player is just a taster, I like to hear the full albums now :)

Cheers for that xx

He's a very talented musician indeed.
I think it has been mentioned here once, but to anyone who wasn't here back then, you migh the interested to know that Lauri also wrote the music to Finnish movie V2 - Jäätynyt enkeli / V2: Dead Angel:

Edit: Right, it was mentioned there on the MySpace. Disregard that. :P

Music in is Lauri's blood. His great grandfather was one of the greatest composers lived last century, Jean Sibelius!
He also has studied music since he was 6, starting with cello. He has also studied piano, double-bass and trumpet, as well classical singing.
