Stratovarius Community

The dates for the European section of the POLARIS world tour can now be published. It will take place in January/February of 2010 and so far the confirmed gigs cover Germany, Benelux, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, and Scandinavia.

Anyway, what the hell happens with Valencia? You go to Madrid, the biggest city in Spain, then to Barcelona, the second, and Valencia is the third biggest in Spain and you never go there! Zaragoza was due to Metalway festival that each year is in one different city and I understand.

I suppose is due to the effort of the city hall or something? Cause I don't understand, here we use to have bands like U2, Iron Maiden, Guns&Roses but never Stratovarius! You were here last time to make the final gig for Visions tour!

Unfortunately, in my little hometown there is no such place where you could play. A local restaurants roof would not last Jörg's double bass!

The band was performing well in Ruisrock, Turku yesterday. Matias will become a stage guitarr hero in time, so it looks like. Next to stage was big video screen to pick up sleights of hand by Matias and Jens (among others), nice
To the point; TK said that the band will come up with own gigs on January or even little earlier, so the info may be expected pretty soon...

January seems to be highly full of work abroad and so is the begining of February too. Hope some day there is time to do gigs in Finland, not only festivals.

and they will propably make the next album sometime next year.

Hmm the first tour with no stop in Nürnberg since years.
Maybe the fans there are too lame.On Elements tour Joerg said something like the song Elements was canceled from the setlist cause of the poor atmosphere during the gig.So I have to travel to munich or stuttgart.

at least you have dragonforce (like it or not) in nürnberg...

Huh, does that mean the UK still isn't a viable place to do a tour for the band?
