I think Tolkki should finally admit that he should do what he is best at: in writing melodic power metal songs. RR feels to me like he is deliberately trying to do something different, but as he has composed all those songs we all love, I really don't understand why he just doesn't put together killer power metal band and give us those songs.

Well he wasn't the only songwriter and they just composed what they liked.
And that doesn't mean all of us would for all three have very variable tastes.
And Secondly Tolkki has said that he has no idea how the next RR record will sound and that AoA didn't possibly show their style at it's best.

Don't turn this into a Flames topic XD

One last thing I have to say:
Tolkki +1
RR +1
Stratovarius +1
etc.

Peace :)

I actually agree with what JRaquel says. It looks like Timo dopes all this stuff to show that he is over leaving Stratovarius and sort of send the message "They still do the same old shit and I do something new". That would be nice of the new stuff would be actually good. But AoA was...well...You know what I think of this album. Tolkki should do what he does best: Writing killer power metal.

Tolkki's Hymn to Life is a fantastic album. And it's not metal. He can write great songs other than metal too. And to be honest he has done almost everything that you can in power metal. He had to choose a new style.
"Mikor az utolsó véred is elfolyék,
S a tested is a porba hullék,
Akkor is van még remény,
Mert a lelked továbbra is él."

To me "Hymn to Life" and "Saana" were just boring as shit and I did not enjoy them at all. And why does he had to chose a new stlye? Why can't he continue to do Power Metal? I would much rather listen to something like the New Era Album than to another AoA or Hymn to Life.

Cool, first the release of the book "hymn to life" then another RR album. Great news.

I'm waiting for "project strato" as well.

And yeah about the new RR album I would like to hear something closer to "new era" instead of "AoA".

Cheers to Stratovarius and cheers to Timo Tolkki as well, both sides rock in different ways but they both rock for sure!!

Okay, so I guess the "It is very hard for us to tour" thing Tolkki said was also made up

:? You're right.

How is it possible that the RR-forum is constantly spammed with bots?

Hi Timo :rotflmao2: :rotflmao1: :crazy2: :viking:

Tolkki or you, Jraquel, Oceanids whatever you call yourself should finally admit he (you) got rid of Stratovarius to did Saana and the RR to make money, and those didn't make money so now you have start planning to to get rid of Jenn and the RR guys to make power metal again .

smart first step is registering as JRachel and telling your plan . :twak: :crazy1: :rotflmao2: :rotflmao1:
