Stratovarius Community

I was about to order tickets for the 9/25 concert in Mokena, IL, when I was told that the Pearl Room (the venue) was going out of business and the concert had been moved to the Pyramid Club venue in Addison, IL.

So I called the Pyramid Club tonight and the woman who answered told me that the Stratovarius show was moved there but it was canceled and was moving somewhere else but she didn't know where.

So, where is the 9/25 show going to be?

My second question is about tickets. Ticketmaster.com has regular tickets and "VIP" tickets which include "early entry and a signed poster." But the Vault has "VIP" tickets that include "early entry and meet and greet." Do I really get to meet Stratovarius if I buy these tickets?! They've been my favorite band for 10 years so if I really get to meet them then those are the tickets I want! Is there a difference between Ticketmaster's VIP tickets and Vault's VIP tickets?

Go to the Cleveland show the day before

I would really like to know what's going on, too, because now that I have to drive all the way up to Addison, I'll be on the road for 3 or more hours just to get to the venue. I bought VIP tickets to the Pearl Room and they've been sitting here in front of me for a few weeks. I really hope the show is at the Pyramid Club still, because I really don't want to get screwed over.

I'd love to hear a response from Jens on this, just so we know what is going on..

Also, when I bought the VIP tickets from Ticketmaster, it told me it included early entry and a meet-and-greet with the band; didn't hear anything about a signed poster though.

EDIT: I just checked the Pyramid Club's MySpace and they have the date for Stratovarius up. There's nothing about it being canceled, though. Maybe the lady was just confused?

I'd love to know as well. For a small number of these US shows things seem a bit chaotic. "The venue itself was eaten by alligators", "what?? ??", that type of thing.

We talked about it earlier, maybe once we get to Beijing we can investigate what is going on and get some clarity in this whole matter regarding a few of these shows, ourselves.

What kind of hotel are we talking about here anyway? o.@

I think the reason for all these cancellations is that Dragonforce&Sonata Arctica package is touring exactly at the same time in the US. That is hugely popular duo there. So it must be because of that. I am also wondering why only 6 shows in Latin America? My friend told me that Stratovarius used to play 15 shows there, even more. Maybe also many bands touring there at the same time? In that case bad planning I guess.

That is great A24(it took a hell of a time to count all your A's and I admit, they look impressive and funny, but it's not the multitude that makes it in our world) Not every A is Priapus and you have to be careful there.
