October 20th, São Paulo - Thank you, Stratovarius

Looking back, I remember how miserable I felt when Tolkki said Stratovarius had dismissed. Stratovarius has played (and continues to play) a central role in my life. I consider music a very important part of my life, and Stratovarius is at the very core of this.
I went to the 2005 concert in the S/T tour (my first metal concert ever, btw) but couldn't make it to the 2006 concert. I'd be crushed if I did not have a chance to see Stratovarius live again. I have been imagining how it would be to see Stratovarius live once more ever since.
So I'd just like to thank Stratovarius for all the years of life changing music. I'll be there tomorrow and I'll do my best to make that night as special to you as Stratovarius has always been to me.

That's The Undertaker Jens once more in the right on the lowest pic. Someone should edit THE expression to the up most pic though.

That's what i understood too... if wasn't his grandmother, was his grandpa, dunno... but even with that, that concert was simply unbelievable, and I cried in the end of Forever!
Thanks, Stratovarius, for being such an important band in my life!

The show was AWESOME! Thank you Stratovarius!
Everybody made a great performance! Matias is an fantastic guitar player!
The set list was great, I just missed We hold the key & S.O.S, I also would love to hear Galaxies, but probably they'll never play this song live anymore?
Unfortunate I don't had the chance to meet the band this time, but maybe next year!?
I also heard that Kotipelto grandfather or grandmother died last night!?
I could perceveid that he was more serious in this show than in the unusual, a little sad, my condolences to you Timo!
God bless you all
Strato Rules!!!

Oh well, what can I say, last night was one of the most memorable moments of my life! I'll remember that night forever!
The setlist was the usual setlist, but no
Legions or
Will My Soul Ever Rest In Peace? (
Paradise was played instead).
So many things I'd like to highlight!
- Jens and Lauri playing Bach's
Air on the G string
- Mathias Kupiainen playing Beethoven's
Für Elise
- Lauri and Mathias playing "unholy solos" and
Holy Light!
- "Que Porra!" - Lauri cracks me up, haha...
-
Paradise!
-
Destiny,
Forever,
Black Diamond
Moments before the concert, they were playing
Carry On at the venue and I had goose bumps during the whole song. At that moment I realized I was about to have the time of my life!
And I'm a proud owner of one of Jörg's drum sticks!

Thank you once again, Stratovarius! That night will last forever in my heart.

If I'm not mistaken, he said "I'll dedicate this next song to my grandfather who passed away today". It was really touching, I sang
Forever with tears in my eyes. It's really sad when someone we love passes away. My most profound condolences to Kotipelto and his family.

I noticed that Lauri played Bach's Toccata e Fugga during one of his solos to..
yes, must be his grandfather, realy sad, and Kotipelto was very strong to do this show, even with this burden!

Now, I guess we should start an Undertaker chant in Tampere if Jens ever gets his time in the spotlight.
