Stratovarius Community

It was AMAZING. As Lauri said after the show, the best in the tour till that moment. The venue was a bit empy (2.500 capacity and more or less 600 people in there) but the people was MAD. The show was INCREDIBLE and everybody was singing ALL the songs. TK was amazed and he never stopped to say thank you and thank you. Lauri's face was really amazed too. Everybody was having a lot of fun. Suddenly the crowd started to say: "Straaaatovariuuus!!*10000" and Jens was laughing a lot. They played for the first time in this tour Against the wind. They played Paradise too. The first song was Destiny and the setlist was (in this order):

LOL THe first band (Tracedawn) was ok and funny, then Mystic Prophecy was wondeful too! I liked it A LOT. And the guys are awesome and really friendly.

And Finally Strato was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

After the show Lurdi and me were talking a lot with the guys. We talked with Lauri, Matias, Jörg, Jens and TK. It was fantastic and really mad. I said to Jens, "hey we are Raziel and Lurdi from Stratoforum!" and he started to jump and being happy and told us "keep posting!" "thanks for coming!".
He was really funny. He "stole" a camera and started shooting around hahahahaha( that's usual in Jens I think )

Tracedown were really great guys too. We had a loooong conversation with Tuomas, Roni and Pertuu. The conversation with Toumas was funny, the guy was really drunk and we were talking about Stratovarius. He said it was the first metal band he ever listened too and the first album was Infinite, and he told us that Matias is and old friend.
Well, a lot of things and everything was funny. When we were going to the venue (at 6 o clock more or less) we found TK walking around Madrid, and we were shocked! So we went to talk with him and have some pictures. There were two more guys from Stratovarius staff but I don't remember their names. One of them was the photographer.

What a fantastic show and night. What a fucking fantastic show and night. We almost die in the venue.

PS: A funny thing was when Django was crossing the street, and one car while seeing the man crossing, stopped more or less 5 meters far away and he said to the driver: "" yoooouuuuu fuckerrrrr!"

I simply love the pictures. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice. It was wonderful talking with them, I wish I could go to a Stratovarius show every week!

I hope they would come to Phalluzuela soon so we can take lots of footage and photos.

Well, they also told us that we were the best audience yet, but they must say that every night!

And it's thanks to us you guys got Paradise, we were the one to ask'em!

I'm from Brazil and went alone to the event, even so I gone MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD(like some are saying).

Almost ran out my voice in the songs. The transition of Destiny - Hunting - Speed of Light is the best.

Hope they arrive in Brazil, São Luís - MA, It's a coast city with nice beaches.

They decide the setlist before the show, and tape them to the floor, I know, because I "stole" the setlist that was in front of Matias after the show

But if you see'em before the show, and that you are not alone and a lot to ask it, you can ask'em a song to play for the gig, with 10 friends, we all asked'em for Paradise, and they played it for us, the evening!!!!

Arkash, I know they do almost the same in every show. I know they always say "this is the best show", like all the bands. But you can know if you have been in an average show or in a fantastic one, and that is something just one can know.

The Brazilian guy was in the same show and I was asking to him about the funny thing that happens in every show, but you know, I was in Madrid show .

You seem to reply every thing I say with the "that was in my show too" thing.


But I'm sure that what happened in Barcelona show never happened in another one hahahahha.

The correct writing would be Yy Kaa Koo Nee, whitch are colloquial version for Yksi Kaksi Kolme Neljä. In English one two three four

Yeah, you are right, but well...I'm so excited, it was my first Strato gig and it was just perfect, it's stucked in my mind for months now!!!! But sorry, you're right, I'm gonna try to calm down my enthusiasm!!

I cannot believe it!!! Against The Wind, jeez ! Well, at least you enjoyed it a lot and I'm glad you could have a nice conversation with the strato guys. Nice pics, and hope you enjoyed the concert as much as we all did in our countries

as i only can judge from youtube timo seems to sing very well. no flu nothing.very good. so legions will be no problem in munich

ahhhh reminds me of the Montreal gig a few months ago... it was totally awesome too. The second concert i've ever been to (first one was Strato also lol). It's totally a spiritual experience for me, for lack of better words.

In youtube, man? I will run to see. I'm in the airport, Sao Paulo, going to my city(São Luís) and guess what I'm hearing? The gig setlist of course!!!

But now It's playing "Why are we here?"

The images from the show always pops in my mind, can't forget. "Yo No puedo olvidar" ehehe...

Just now I can realize how the fucking amazing was that show, in the begining I was something like: "Oh... why not S.O.S and Will the sun rise?" but now I must say that was perfect the way that they've played.

Next time I wanna meet you guys. This "stratofan" couple, I may go to Spain again in 2011, and see if can make a quick visit to valencia, cuz this time I travel a lot in Spain, but not to Valencia or Barcelona.

This show I'll never forget. Could've been 600-700 people, but 90% of all made impact.

+1, but mainly Distant Skies. If they added these two songs to the setlist, then it would be absolutely amazing.
And yes, it is said TK was a bit ill, but I hope he's ok by now or better at least.

But, the people is always saying that Tk was a bit ill. I didn't feel that. He was perfect in the stage and then in the street. At least in Madrid, he was not ill.
