I've seen this video before and I also think it's THE best Stratovarius live performace ever. I absolutely love the raspy scream from TK in the beginning of the song!

I wonder if he still can do that...

Yes he can no problem for Timo his voice is in great shape,i saw him 2 years ago with his solo band in Weert Holland and he did some high vocals at that gig.On the Polaris tour Timo choose the easy path

Yes he can no problem for Timo his voice is in great shape,i saw him 2 years ago with his solo band in Weert Holland and he did some high vocals at that gig.On the Polaris tour Timo choose the easy path

Exactly my thoughts. On the polaris tour he does all the high stuff with this thin, squeaky voice. But I'm quite sure that can still sound very powerful if he puts a little more effort in his high singing. Would be very cool because his middle-range voice is better than ever these days!

Agreed. And I think I have a proof he still has his old abilities: Let me tell you my friend / all things come to an end / forever is today.

Also, I think I had the priviledge and honor to be in one of those few gigs on this tour where he sang everything very authentically, in Pakkahuone here in Tampere. Even Father Time and Forever Is Today were as close to perfection as humanly possible. For comparison I attended three gigs this tour, and this Pakkahuone one definitely sounded most like studio versions.

I just think he rarely even tries to sound an angel nowadays anymore. Just take the album Stratovarius. His singing mainly is rougher than ever, but still his cleans shine in United. He's just being more eclectic than before. And quite possibly clean heights aren't as easy to him as they were while he was younger.

I think so too. I'm almost sure that the clean heights are more difficult for him than 10 years ago. But that is why I think he should put a little more effort in those parts when singing live.
