I just realized that the band came out with this new proggy very good album.

According to www.metal-archives.com , Jens played all the keyboards of the album once again. Cool stuff, check it out.

How exactly did those people get Jens to play with them?

I saw their myspace before and it boggled my mind because they seemed like a relatively unknown band from New Jersey of all places with Jens doing studio keys for them...

Mastermind has been around since the mid-80's. They released like 5 full-length albums, I think, a couple of live ones and a few EP's. They had considerable success considering they were trying to do a kind of guitar oriented, prog-fusion type thing in the U.S when grunge was polluting the music scene and long instrumentally focused songs were out of favor. Jens played on two of their other albums in '98 and 2000, so it's not that strange he's decided to work with them again. I like the samples and will probably pick this one up.

I believe Janne Wirman (children of bodom) played keys for them on an album too...always love Jen's stuff, will definitely check this out!

Funny how Janne took Jens' lead tone, and whenever he does any guest appearances or anything outside of CoB, he still uses that lead tone, yet I don't think Jens even uses it on Stratovarius albums anymore, which is a shame.

I love both of their leads equally. (my inner hiro is speaking)

They are kinda progressive I guess.. I live pretty close to where they are from.

One of my all time fav bands! I own all their albums and been a fan since 96.

Really tragic when Mike passed away.

I think they are gonna play live now.. for the first time...

They were suppose to play the Triton Power Cruise, but unfortunately, the cruise was canceled. Still, there are strong rumors of SG announcing other live gigs soon, at least on the east coast.

I LOVE Shadow Gallery. One of my favourite bands ever. I was very upset to hear about Mike Baker, we lost a real talent there.

SHADOW GALLERY will headline the ProgPower Europe 2010 festival on Saturday, October 2 at JC Sjiwa in Baarlo, The Netherlands.

I've just finished listening to the album, pretty damn cool

I'll admit that I've never heard these guys before, I'm definitely going to check them out and see how it sounds.
