SUPERMAN DEAD AT 52

Post by browneyedgirl » Mon Oct 11, 2004 1:55 pm

Christopher Reeve died yesterday of heart failure at age 52.

he had been paralyzed from neck down since 1995 following a horseriding accident.

Real shame---he was a fine actor.
RIP, Chris........:(

it´s a shame.
I´ve been watching another Reeve´s movies, and i can tell you that he was pretty well...

There will be no other Superman, no matter what they try to do (unless the release a remastered version of the old ones)

Same with Michael Keaton (Batman), there will never be an actor that could replace him.
By the grace of God Almighty,
And the pressures of the marketplace
The human race have civilized itself...
...it´s a miracle.

All is not lost.......Chris left 3 Sons to carry on, plus, he has all his life's work on film for us to remember him by. Then, there is the inspiration that he gave other paralyzed people, that they could live near-normal lives, too, as he.Finally, in the Medical field, because of Chris's example, more research is being done in the area of paralysis.

I never have been a fan of Hollywood gossip, but, I don't remember ever hearing any Negative publicity about Mr. Reeve---I guess he was a good man. So, maybe he is in a special place now, looking down&smiling upon all of us, as a real Superman!
