Don't be a hypocrite. First you lambast people for labelling someone as warmongerer, and then you start talking about flower-growing.

BTW, flower-growing is not something I said to label someone ... I've read an interview with some European peace activist, he was asked what will he do when someone invades his country. His answer was "I will go to the fields and will grow flowers" ...

There's a lot I could refute here. But I haven't posted in this topic for too long and it would take forever.

But I can try to cover what is on this page and etc.

1) When I say that George Bush did not cheat in the election, I am referring to what Agent Orange said in the beginnning of this topic.

2) George Bush never cheated the first time! Explain to me, please, how he supposedly 'cheated.' All I know is that they counted Florida several times, and he won every time they counted. Its not some kind of republican consipiracy - for gods sake.

3) When I say European Socialist. I am more referring to extreme liberals in Europe. And by this, I am mainly referring to France, I'll be frank.

It would have been hilarious to have a guy in charge who might have listened to his terrorism czar, payed attention to a briefing in August of 2001 titled "Bin Ladin determined to strike within the US" or had implemented some of the plan, oh excuse me, "the actionable items", the outgoing administration had presented. Think of it this way, if Russia (they without them America would have lost in WWII jsut as France would have crumbled completely without us so its the same scenario) decided that they wanted to attack China (no idea why they would but for the sake of arguement) The UN told them over and over again "NO!" Yet they attacked anyways. Then they forced Poland into the fighting even though they have no reason to be there. And now Russia wants America to side iwth them and begin sending troops and supplies to some country that we would have NO reason whatsoever to be in other than because a country that helped us out nearly two generations ago wants more land. Now if we turn this down and stay out of the war, are we cowards, or are we just using common sense?

Long sotry short, Americans should just shut up about France and stop being such idiots, no wonder everyone hates us when we go as far as to change the names of our food to spite anohter country when we dont get our way.

I have a solution that shuts them all up - I display a French flag because.........I am French. Any motherfucker in my town who has a problem with that can just bite my ass. And I have not heard anyone come around me with that "freedom fires" shit because I'll tell them to pound sand in their ass. I have been to France 3 times and they were nice to me. You know what the deal is though - and I realised this from the years I lived in Engand and all the travelling I have done.......American tourists are distinctly obnoxious and generally have no respect for other cultures - even when in another country. What really convinced me was the trip to Tunisia. A Muslim country - all people entering the holy city of Kairouan must put a robe and the women a barka. And they graciously provide these things for you to wear free of charge. Well.........there was group of Americans there making a huge to-do over that, saying they weren't wearing that shit etc..... I could not believe it. And the Arab guy at the gates refused to let them in and I am glad because there was no reason he should compromise for ignorance. I carried a huge sarong with me at all times for when we went indoors - even in peoples' shops I covered my head and shoulders out of respect for their culture. I can so understand why Muslims hate Americans after seeing that.

And the anecdotes you have deliniated prove this. I feel really stupid about the way i'm sure i am perceived by people of other nations, simply because i am born in the united states. It's fucking embarassing; i know i'm not that kind of a person. But how can i argue against years upon years of touristy assholes? I'd feel the same way about us if i were somewhere else, doubtless.

Bush DID cheat, and at BOTH elections. First time, lots of voting machines were destroyed and voting ballots were missing. You may not beleive you people would do that, but I sure would.

He sure as hell IS a bad President, why else does America have such a weak currency, is job employment there at an all-time low and are terrorists aching to do 9/11 all over again?

We never saw stuff like this in the Clinton era. Why not? Because HE was a better President, he didn't stick his noses in other people's businesses to and extend where people got annoyed by it and he at least LISTENED to the UN, Bush doesn't even do THAT.

The reason he got re-elected is because more than half of the entire American population are Christian cowards, who got lied to by priests and other religious movements, claiming gay marriages and aborations are 'sins' and that people who vote for that will burn in Hell. HE is NOT a strong leader and you'll see that in the next 4 years.

On another note, Bush and his companions are slowly merging Church and State, to a point where all political decisions are based on religious laws and you people are too blind to see it! If one day Bush said he'd rewrite the entire American Constitution, what would you tell him?

a) "Yes, Mr. President. By all means, take away all my freedom and make me your slave!"
b) "FUCK YOU, Mr. President!"

How can we be sure that Kerry would have been any better? Ok maybe even an ameba on Saturn would make a better president than Bush, or maybe not, how the hell should I know? I dont have a clue what will happen inside the US, or what the US will do outside of it, but hopefully everything turns out for the best.

When we visited Holland I got stopped by people asking for directions and also someone doing market research wanting me to answer a survey. I make a point to blend in wherever I go. American tourists tend to judge other cultures by American standards and expect these cultures to alter their ways to fit in with American culture. That is ignorance at it purest IMO. When I lived in UK I hated American tourists and I would not go out of my way to be courteous to them because they were so obnoxious. Everyone here thinks that because I lived in London that I surely knew Princess Diana personally. How dumb.

They want everyone within a 5km radious to know they are from Ohio/California and they are so loud and obnoxious and all they can say about everything is "In Ohio/california we do it THIS way - this is wrong" I think they should just stay the fuck in Ohio and california until they can learn how to conduct themselves abroad. New Yorkers are assholes abroad too. Loud mouths. You don't see many rednecks travelling abroad because they have no idea that any countries exist outside of the mason-dixon line.

I have borne witness to this time and time again and that is where I draw the conclusions from.

Thast interesting, since as one living in California I must say this has to be one of the most cultural and ethnicly diverse areas in the country. It is a very tolerent area as much as I can walk down to a coner store and not be able to read the signs or billboards because i don't speak spanish or vietnemiese. This isn't necissarily a 'bad' thing, but its kinda odd to think about.

I can only tell what I have witnessed. It's quite possible that the people I have seen are not from your area. California is a big state.

As some of you might know, I'm from Mexico. I lived there all my life until July this year. I saw asshole tourists from everywhere. From the US, Germany, Argentina, Spain, Canada, England, you name it. I also came across very nice people from those countries. But I guess a lot of people assume that because a tourist is American, he/she will automatically be an ignorant asshole. Generalizing is one of the worse things one can do.
