Hey, who likes the ultimate racing cars competition?
Damn, this year was boring as hell...thanks to Schumacher!
So, what are your expectations for next year? Same crap? Will Montoya rise Mclaren? What about Williams with Webber?

I´ve just read David Coulthard will be the test pilot for Red Bull...shame!
What do you expect of this new team? What about Sauber now?!
Let´s discuss it!!

I used to watch it back when more than only one driver had chances in winning a race. Nowadays it bores me to tears.

Formula One is good, though for me its hard to keep track, because most of the races are international (and they only show the BIG races on ABC and crap, sometimes on ESPN). I just watch NASCAR  !

While I'm on the subject, I feel the need to give my opinion on the new "Race for the Championship" points system in the "Nextel Cup". So it goes that everyone races no matter what. After 26 races, the top 10 drivers in the points standings qualifies for the Championship, while everyone else gets screwed out. Then everyone races for the last 10 races, then we crown a champion.

Ok, so first off, if only the top 10 qualify for the championship, why does every driver race in the last 10 races. I mean, the 33 drivers that are racing knows they can't win the championship.

Plus, I would also like to add that they changed the points system after one driver (Matt Kenseth) won the Winston Cup Championship, while only winning one race, but finishing in some great spots.

Finally, why the fuck did they change it to the Nextel Cup? Winston Cup sounded great...but "OH MY GODS, IT RELATES TO SHMOKING...OH MY GODS, CHANGE TEH SPONSOR...OH MY GODS!!!" Interesting to note that when they talk about a driver's past history, they say something like ...he was the 1999 Nextel Cup champion..." WTF!?!? There was no Nextel Cup, only the Winston Cup.

Point in case, NASCAR needs to get their priorities straight!

EDIT: Holy Fuck, I think I wrote too much!
Somehow I still have an account...yay...?

Of all motor sports tractor-pulling is the greatest.
I haven't killed him yet sir,
But when I do, I shall have the stomach and the liver too,
And the floppily doppilies in their horrid glue.

\m/ tractor pull \m/

I'm rather fond of swamp racing as well... but that's more of a Florida thing I guess. Google it!

I used to watch NASCAR a lot. To answer the question about why the sponsor changed: Yes, political correctness had a lot to do with it, but it also had to do with Winston's lack of financial stability to keep NASCAR growing and thriving for the fans. It will never be the same for me though, since I'm so used to "Winston Cup." In a way it's alienated a lot of the old fans...

Oh... and the new championship system SUCKS. It completely ruins the playing field and fairness of the sport, but it does however serve a purpose. Nobody wants to watch a season where somebody takes a HUGE points lead toward the end. I'm a Jeff Gordon fan, but I hated it that one season he was so far ahead of everybody... it just felt too easy. So in a way it's wholly unfair to the rest of the drivers, but it makes the points race a lot more competitive and representative (no more Kenseths :P ).
