That's right. Aguilera is a really good singer with a amazing and powerful voice, but she (or her producer ?) is stupid. When you see what kind of person she was in "Genie in The Bottle" video, and the kind of person in her recent videos (most obvious is a ballad filmed in black and white, don't remember much more), it's obvious she used breast surgery, definitely to get success. (actually, hadn't Britney done the same as well?)
On the other hand, this thing tells a lot about the actual music market.
It seems people prefer to buy music "sang" by surgery-breast women that by real singers. One more thing is that it seems people are interested in "provocation" music. Public Enemy and Emminen sold a lot thank to the "Parental something - Explicit Lyrics" sticker on their CDs. Madonna sold more for her attitude (removing her panties on stage or having that biography with naked pics) than for her music. Mylène Farmer (if you have never heard the name, don't try to get to know more about her, she sucks!) sold more because of her naked porn videoclips or with her provocation attitude on medias. Most obvious case to me is Kylie Milogue. She used to have nice and catchy songs (and success) during years 80's.
Then, the music market has changed, she became old fashioned. She changed her producer who made her become a bimbo with a bitch attitude, with crap songs. and back to the business, she sold gold.
the list could be infinitly extended...
This is really sad to see how music became more a business than a "art".
Someone on this topic said the name Sarah Connor'. Ja, she is disgusting.
And she isn't the one singing on her records. The producer asks some local great singers to do the job and give them hundreds of euros.
