For those of you who don't know who he was - he played Scotty in the original Star Trek and also 7 movies and one guest appearance in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Shurik, who could watch the original Star Trek without knowing Scotty--he was intregal/very important to that show. A good man I'm very sure.

He got those guys out of hot water many times by "beaming them up" in the nick of time! I'd say their lives depended on Mr. Scott, wouldn't you say? ;)

RIP. He fathered a child at age 80! Now the poor kid's fatherless at the age of 5...

But what memories and legacy he left to that child! Was it the little girl that was sitting on his lap when they dedicated the star last year? I thought it was his granddaughter. :oops:
