When you said classics, I thought you were talking about the period, like baroque, classical, romantic, etc. :)

Anyways, my list:

- Bach (but I hate masses and I don't really like cantatas; I like his harpsichord and organ works as well as the orchestral suites and the Brandenburg concertos).
- Corelli (the Concerti Grossi are beautiful, plus the violin sonatas and the trio sonatas)
- Telemann
- If I listen to his works in detail, I'm sure Mozart would become my favourite, but I need advice from my father (who loves Mozart) because there are so many works that I don't know where to start.
- Some Renaissance music, before the time of classical music, is also really nice.

Here are my favourite

Franz Liszt - Hungarian Fantasy
J.S. Bach - Mass in B Minor
Mozart - Requiem, Symphony no.25
Claude Debussy - Prelude d'apres-midi d'une faune
Stravinsky - Symphony of Psalms
Bartok - Concerto for Orchestra
Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (3rd movement, I'm fucking tired of the first)

I said before the time of classical music, not before the classical period. I know the baroque period is in between (started in the 17th century, while Renaissance music is much older). I was referring to the fact that Renaissance music came before classical MUSIC as a whole, not that it came just before the classical PERIOD. :)

01. Ludwig Van Beethoven

02. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi

03. Frederic Chopin

Well, hopefully there are others of you her that listen to the Classics!
ME!
I discovered the Classical a year ago and I saw what I've passed through the years!

I have any favourites:

Beethoven
What he has written is still unbelievable! The 5th is wonderful, but the most beautiful symphony he wrote is the 9th, no, has been written forever! Remember: as Beethoven has written the 9th symphony, he didn't hear anything nor can say something!!!!! the whole symphony in his head......

Vivaldi
the 4 seasons are wonderful! I still pretend that he has invented the first riff! (listen 4 season, summer's thunderstorm)

Mozart
Of Mozart I like the some piano concerts, most of them are really fast 8)
