two years ago i think i started with SuSE Linux, and then i tested out other Linux systems like RedHat, Ubuntu and so on..
linux is just great, only problem for me are the windows program you can't use on linux.. i know there are some emulators, but i don't really understand how to use them :?

ay, I did until my beloved hardrive burned itself into damnation.

Currently runnin Win XP again...
However, soon I will get Linux back, since it wont take long for Mandriva 2006 to arrive

I tried Debian when I first heard of Linux, I shouldn't have done that, way to difficult

The Emulators are a big mystery to me too, but I think the alternative programs build for Linux are great though :)

I run Fedora Core 4 on one of my laptops (XP on my stationary and my other laptop). First Linux distro I've used...probably Red Hat 4 or 5, in the late 90s. There's a few Windows programs I miss, primarily Photoshop (I'm sorry, but GIMP is horrible), but other than that it's fairly feature-complete to me.
Give me liberty, or give me cake!

I have both Win and Linux because some programs I havve to use for school like SolidWorks do not run on Linux. I'm currently running Debian 3.1 with custom-built kernel.
