I didn't ever get into Beatles or Lennon's single stuff (mostly because I haven't listened it much) so I can't say nearly anything of him... I saw one long document of Lennon's life and it was quite interesting sometimes, even he was totally crazy sometimes with his wife... There was also Lennon's death in this document...

Yeah...well...John was one of the starters of the cultural revolution in the 60's, along with Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison...one of the icons.

In the latest copy of ROLLING STONE mag, there is a great cover story about Lennon! So, pick up a copy!

I got mine today!
"Your life is yours, and yours alone. Rise up and live it!"
Bob: I don't believe in God.
Archangel Michael: That's OK, Bob, because He doesn't believe in you, either!~Legion~

I did like his music. Imagine is still one of my favourite songs. It has beautiful lyrics, something to tell the people in the World. And the music itself is good too.
"Mikor az utolsó véred is elfolyék,
S a tested is a porba hullék,
Akkor is van még remény,
Mert a lelked továbbra is él."

I also never got into some kind of Beatles-Mania and know nothing about John Lennon. For me he is as important as thousands of other musicians. Sounds ignorant, I guess, but that's a fact.
But of course I know that he and his music has coined the development of Rock music, so I pay respect to him.

Mmm, I think that's over-generalizing, but yeah, let him RIP

Well, it was 25 years ago, so I was only one year old. But since I can remember I've heard about him and The Beatles. I'm not a fan, but I like his music anyway. Everytime I heard about that Mark Chapman guy, uuuh! It makes feel a lot of anger!

I know he's sick, he's totally insane. Maybe he doesn't really know what he did. But it was so unfair that John Lennon had to pay for the insanity of this man. It just so damn sad.

I think it is a little far from reality. Besides, he was part of something greater than him.

Well..yeah, but along with Bob Dylan, they represented the ideas of the young, the search for their identity, he may be a part...but he's THE PART
And I think I don't think.

That goes on "Just the facts"

The Beatles rule

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
