Hm, the photo looks in my opinion lots of different in the bigger size (on your IRC-galleria gallery) as on the avatar. If you just look the avatar, it reminds it could be a great for an album cover, and somehow it reminds me the illustration of the booklet on Sonata´s Winterheart´s Guild...

it's actually less than half a mile aeway from our home where the picture was taken

your avatars have that something too

as you may know, avatars tend to give the first impression in internet talking

and your avatars sure give very "interesting" image about you!

specially since nobody has ever seen your pic

Well, the Hair, the Boobs&the Spirit is there/fits, but I am nearing that "over the hill" mark--although, actually nobody is ever really over the hill.

I believe a person is as young&happy as they feel.

I still like Metal&Rock music now just as much as when I was a teen. And having a "just past teenage" son helps, too.

We like much the same music, both wear rock tshirts&things like that.
That was waaaaaaay off-topic, but I guess that explains my avatars I choose.

Even though some people liked my previous avatar, I decided to change it. Continuing my homage to Tim Burton (my all-time favourite movie-director) I changed it to this another creepy shot from the movie Sleepy Hollow. The pumpkin also refers to my favourite band Helloween.
