I've read 1984 and loved it, saw Equilibrium and now I'm in love of those kind of theories...btw, if you haven't seen that movie or read that book and you like BNW, you should! they're btw the same lines...of totalitarian governments.

Well, I guess I wrote here before that I'm reading the Kalevala, and I have it in a PC.
Also have Dracula (I have'em on my brother's PC cause I have no money for the books, besides, the Kalevala is quite hard to find here- No, correct...is IMPOSSIBLE)

What do I read: Epic stories (Kalevala, the song of Roland, etc), JRR Tolkien, Beowulf...that stuff

Good choice, "Kalevala" (in Russian) and "The Lord of The Rings" (in English) are literary masterpieces which are always with me in my Pocket PC

EDIT: Oh, how could I forget? "The Silmarillion" is there too, at the first place!

Due to my job, I have to read mountains of technical documentation from Microsoft, Cisco, Netscreen, and others.

For private reading, I really enjoy biographies and autobiographies. I'm also rather keen on military history, as well books on counterintelligence and espionage. Some of my favorite authors are politicians, generals, and doctors. Clausewitz and Churchill are among my favorite authors.

I also enjoy a great deal of Christian literature, such as works by C.S. Lewis and Rick Warren.

For fiction, I've read a lot of Whitley Strieber, Jenkins/LaRue, Stephen King, D.C. Fontana, and many others.

I'm actually reading a book about the city Of Jihlava in Moravia (Czech Republic), this book is called "Kapitoly z historie Jihlavy" (or in english "the chapters of the Jihlava's history"). Very interesting thing.

I have recently finished "The Celesty Prophecy" (Tolkki's recommendation at his forum), and a book about neurobics, brain exercise.
I am reading "Veronika Decides to Die" that is the only book of Paulo Coelho I had not read.
Apart from that I am writing my novel and reading my books on learning German and Japanese (does that count?)

Hurray, finally I finished "War and Peace" by Tolstoi!

It took quite a long time, cause I had only two hours in the evenings to read. However, it's an absolutely great book.
Probably tomorrow I'll start with another book, don't know yet which one I'll choose...

George Washington was the Father of our country. Literally.

Also, I read the DAVINCI CODE which was interesting. I am waiting for the DVD, now!

What I last read was The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton.

I finished in a week. Just 300 pages.
The book was old I must say, back from the 60s. But I loved it very much.
It gave me the same thrills Crichton's last one State of Fear.

He's my favorite writer.

By the way, I just noticed that he's coming out with a new book on Nov 28 called NEXT that deals with genetics. Anyone intrested:

I finished Dan Brown's Deception Point some time ago. It was a lot like the Da Vinci -Code and Angels And Demons; it was a really exciting story, but after reading it once, that's it.

I'm currently short on cash so I'm basically re-reading some of my classics. At the moment i'm reading Lolita for the seventh time, if I remember correctly. I've also had a look to Biography of Hunger, english translation of Biographie de la faim, one of my favourite books by Amélie Nothomb. Really great translation, I highly recommend it.
