Drugs aren’t metal. Beer, however, can be served in all kinds of true metal ways.

Holy crap
First Maiden, now Avantasia...
I am not missing this for anyone. I predict Strato will play next year too to support the upcoming R?R? album, and I'm pretty sure Nile and Opeth will play too. Mystic Prophecy are a near certainty too, the follow up to Savage Souls is to be released early 08.
WOA 2008 is already seeming like the best ever!

Whoa, that's really something. Get Blind Guardian and Dio there and I just might drag my fat finnish ass all the way to Germany.
Right now I'm just anticipating The Scarecrow with Alice Cooper and Michael Kiske (again, thank god).

Really more than one good argument to visit Wacken 2008! Btw, does somebody know, was Wacken ever sold out? I guess next year this might be possible...

Yes, Wacken was sold out a few weeks ago!
Look at:
www.wacken.com
But I guess that if you come there without a ticket, you'll find someone who doesn't need one (or a few)...usually there are some people who buy the ticket far long before the festival and then something happen that they can't go there...fortunately for those who fail to buy a ticket in time

I've heard that he will not be there, but I can't guarantee that it's true
But Kiske is not one of my fav singers, so I don't care about him too much

I don't think Kiske has done a single live gig after the departure from Helloween.
What a huuuuuge waste of talent.
