I hope, that we see more broad-minded politics from Obama after Bush's conservative and outlived politics. He has a very difficult job to do, but I believe, that he does his job well.

For those, who complains about his skin colour: Obama is a immigrant president as well as all previous white presidents, because white people are immigrates too, but from Europe. USA hasn't never has a native president, because there have been never a Native American president.

In my opinion it's very sad, what happened to Native Americans a long time ago. :( :pissed2: I hope, that they have better times too in Obama's regime.

Native Americans were immigrants, too! From Siberia, thousands of years ago.

Obama's NSC will get sweeping new powers

Is this a good thing, or something we have to worry about? ???

One thing that concerns me is Obongo's proposed National Security Force- which I fear would be more of a tool to intimidate the opponents of Big Labor (union bosses), as well as critics of Pelosi, Reid, and other luminaries of the far left- much more so that pusuring terrorists, foreign spies, or drug cartel operatives. More on that later.

What is first and foremost of grave concern are the disturbingly anti-antiterror initiatives of the new administration, which includes:

1) Order to close Gitmo, which is something of a country club when compared to many state penitentaries here in the US, with a single prisoner weighing two to three times the average inmate at Dachau or Auschwitz.

2) Intentional interference with ongoing military tribunals, such as the terrorists that launched the attack on the USS Cole, which has infuriated her former captain, and not to mention the survivors of crewmembers that were lost.

3) Micromanaging CIA interrogation techniques, and caving to world opinion as if the CIA were comparable to state sponsored torture of innocent pepple of the ferocity and volume of the Gestapo or the KGB.

And now, Obongo and Clinton retread Director of Central Intelligence designate Leon Panetta are essentially using political doublespeak of saying that torture is prohibited unless it is actually needed- something that the Wall Street Journal has labeled 'The Jack Bauer clause', or in the case permissible in the event of imminent danger.

So what is likely to happen is that by hamstringing the CIA and military intelligence, the president may inadvertently help to bring about the very thing that he and the fictional Jack Bauer seek to avoid.

Dude... ok.

Why is it necessary to compare the USA to dictatorships? Last I checked the USA was meant to be a country that respected human rights...

And zomg, he said he would do things if he won during the election campaign, and the clear majority of people voted for him, and now he's doing them... the horror! The horror!

Electrifying testicles is very much a favorite country club activity.
There are so many interesting questions about justice.
I wonder where the science is at vs. where the rules are at.
If the activity is something that will not hold up in court, is there evidence that that activity does not create reliable information or was the law arbitrarily put into place? If you sign a contract saying you will not do something, is not there a moral obligation to follow that contract or terminate it? I wonder how much of these rules are scientifically based as supposed to based off of philosophy. I guess I’ll have to find a book on the science of water boarding and electrifying people’s testicles vs. other methods of interrogation and how that relates to the established rules of our justice system.

Obama gave a good speech tonight. So far his administration has been relatively smooth sailing. If the rest of his presidency goes like the first 60 days, it'll be alright! He is trying to get some constructive things done.

So far so good... I just hope Obama tries to tackle the drug traffic problem. If he manages to stop the weapons flow south into Mexico, it's already a win-win situation. Cheers for Obama!

Well, "Give 'em Hell" Hilary is down there right now discussing this very issue with Mexico's President. Maybe she will do some good. :)

Well, since he is a Democratic president, maybe he should consider chemical castration while he is in office.

When I am elected galactic President, this will be the first thing on my agenda: the United States Presidential Chemical Castration Act regarding Members of the US Democratic Party.

Alternately, there could be some injunction against female White House interns being closer than ten yards to any Presidential genital area. Subject to presidential party affiliation of course.

Seriously though, I really hope this one keeps it in his pants.......

Of course not!?!??

His handlers assigned by the cabal in the Military Industrial Complex took care of that when they programmed him for the job. This is the explanation for those missing months when he was in the National Guard. He was in a camp getting programmed Manchurian Clockwork Orange style. Sodium Pentothal and electric shocks etc. Beethoven and country and western music.

Plus Laura Bush was under strict instruction from the RNC to keep Presidential mr. happy, well, as happy as possible. I believe she got some special training too.

And for extra measure, if things started to look ugly, the cabal also had a mole inside the white house who could put some experimental anti-horny chemical in his food.

Say what you will about the Republicans, but they're organized!!
