I like eric the red. Ragnarok is cool too, more dark and not as catchy, by the light of the northern sky is catchy, but sounds too much like power metal, which I don't think is their niche. The rest I havn't heard

The levels of unintentional hilarity in this video are on par with Immortal's "Call Of The Wintermoon" or any Rhapsody's video. Great song and a great album though.

You're absolutely right, ha ha. Dead serious pagan and black videos have a tendency to be very amusing indeed.

I think Ancient: "The Cainian Chronicle - Part II: Lilith's Embrace" is pretty close. Priceless!

It is hilarious, but nothing can top this classic:

To this day I have doubts it is serious. You probably have to be on every sort of drugs and after a 10 liters of vodka to think this is actually a good video and to agree to release it ... This is the highest density of lulz ever created.

Yeah.. I really don't think they were actually being serious with it. Fenriz has something of a reputation for being tongue in cheek - he's like a black metal version of Lemmy, according to what I've heard.

If you were playing black metal in Norway in the early 90s at the age of 18-20, I think you took yourself pretty seriously. But yeah, the video makes you wonder...

"The "Call of the wintermoon" video was a huge mistake. It has no matter of course at all. We had an offer from a TV company here in Bergen to do it and there were nothing planned before they started to film which had to be done within two hours because it was supposed to be broadcasted later that evening. Anyway, we were stupid enough to rush into it. As I can remember we were a bit confused in those days."

I read that their debuts title track is almost 30 minutes long. How is it?
Oh and what are your opinnions on their vocalists?
