The album started appearing a few hours ago today on some bigger sites. Anyone listened to it yet?

The pirates are damn slow these days. Officially it's supposed to come out on 17/09 ... Is there some super-duper-ultra-deluxe edition of it planned?

I listened to it. And I didn't like it at all. Sounded uninspired and boring.

I listened to it and liked it. Sounds more like Vovin/Deggial then Lemuria/Sirius B/Gothic Kabbalah - more "relaxed" and more operatic. Just like any other Therion album, it requires several listens to fully understand what's going on there.

I agree... I loved Gothic kabalah. This is very dissapointed.

I'm feeling completely the opposite. GK was a 4/10 max, this is 7/10.

Same here indeed. I loved Lemuria, Sirius B and Gothic Kabbalah.

Well, I'm more of a fan of 6/10 being the complete opposite of 4/10, but 7 ain't too far off.

:user: I don't like the ten-point rating scale anyway. Great albums get 9-10, decent ones get 7-8, and anything less means the same thing(That its Saana Warrior of Light...).

There is too much precision on the scale, which would be ideal for the one in Timo Tolkki's bathroom but overkill for something as subjective and vague as a musical experience. Its like describing the size of my butt from a range of one to a billion (no hurtful comments please :nervous:).
