the album hits shelves Monday, and it just leaked to what.cd, based on what I've heard so far, this will be an atmospheric masterpiece, but I'm still holding out to see if he'll deliver the masterpieces that are expected. Who else is anticipating this

Nah, just too tired to make any sense. Listening to it now though. DT fans, when you hear me rampaging about how uncreative DT has gotten, it's because I'm spoiled by Steven Wilson.

Will check when it's up somewhere else - not planning on ruining my already shitty ratio on what with this. SW tends to be somewhat boring anyway.

With my 0.5 up speed, I have pretty much no chance of getting anything out of a non-freeleech torrent. I wouldn't be able to keep a positive ratio without occasionally borrowing a seedbox. :X

Anyway, what should I expect? Is it similar to anything he's done in the past?

It's much more with bass communion, no man, and some of the blackfield.
Think 60s psychedelia with king crimson jazz prog and ambient influence.
