just got lost

yea so we went out to a guy's birthday. My roommate, who knows his way around, and whom without i'm completely lost, left earlier than me. Taking the subway to go home was fine cause I was with people. But then, going out of the subway station, I was alone. Since I didn't know my way around, I called my friend to either come pick me up, or guide me. So he guided me. Problem is, I got out of the wrong subway exit, so whatever he would tell me, didn't make sense. Also, my battery was almost dead. At some point, my phone alerted me that it's dangerously low. I told my friend about it, and he told me that if my phone dies, meet him at the FamilyMart. So my phone died shortly after.

So I waited at the FamilyMart. about 20 minutes went by, maybe more, I don't know, and he still didn't show up. I knew something was wrong, cause we live really close by. So I thought maybe there was another FamilyMart near there. Turns out, there are so many FamilyMarts near each other around here it's not even funny. So I tried to ask people if there is another one near (I was still at that FamilyMart). Of course, no one speaks english. I got lucky, this one girl could barely understand me. She tells me to follow her. She brings me to another FamilyMart, which was really close, but my friend wasn't there. I thought maybe he went elsewhere, since he saw I wasn't where I was supposed to be. So I walked around, asking opened stores (it was like 1 am) if they had a wire to charge my cell phone. While I was walking, I recognized a McDonalds which I saw near where I live. I also recognized the alleyway next to it. So I went down that road. Oh man, all those alleyways look the same. I got lost again.

I finally end up in a main street, and I tried to find the Mc Donalds again to ask them if they can charge my phone. While I was walking, I saw my friend.
