There are a couple since I posted the last time...

Jarhead - yeah, very interesting movie. I can really recommend it, it's not the typical war movie someone's used to. It has a high intensity, although the war itself has not a major part in it.

Ice Age 2 -

School of Rock - a very funny movie, especially for all those that are into making rock music themselves. Jack Black at his best! I liked it!

Inside Man - also a very interesting thriller with great actors (I especially like Clive Owen). An exciting, also a little challenging story. Only the end is somehow... conceivable.

Jazz Club - anyone who knows Helge Schneider? A German comedian, he is so crazy, it's not possible to describe it in words. One of his masterpieces! :D

oh, and I forgot: Lord of War. A cynic masterpiece about weapons, violence and wars in today's world. Unbelievable, such an evil movie. Highly recommended!

Scary Movie 4. It was too short, and the only thing I really laughed at was the scene from Fahreneit 9/11. And the japanese talk too now that I remember it. :D

Scary MOvie 4
I agree, it was too short. I like the part when they were mocking Brokeback Moutain:

-"Hey, what're doing?"
-"Just trying to grab some nuts"

I saw The weather man, and...I must say I didn't liked it. But there were some parts where I was laughing...

And I saw an old movie called The Nick Of Time (I'm not sure) and it was extremely good! a thriller I believe, but kept me shaking for 1.40 minutes!!! Jhonny Deep and others, it was really good.

And hopefully, on Sunday I'll go to Tribeca Film Festival to see Poseidon.

Silent Hill... It's nice, but the sick factor is maximized here... It's the only movie I've seen come from a video game that was like the videogame, quality speaking... I would recommend renting it, putting to the dvd player at noon, have happy music play and call many friends. :)

Scary Movie 4 - I laughed but its an average parody..

Mafia! on the other hand is just brilliant!

I saw about half of Lord Of War, that kind of humor is precisly why I like Nicholas Cage as an actor! :P

I saw The Queen of the Damned at English lesson today. It was the first time I've seen it in English, and I made sure once again that it's better to watch movies at their native language, poor translation kills a lot (jokes, feelings and even meaning).

Some days ago I watched Russian film "Kukushka" ("Cuckoo") - a mixture of Finnish, Russian and Lapp languages (and a droplet of German), because main heroes are Finnish and Russian men and a Laplander woman, they talked their native languages and tryed to understand each other! I really enjoyed it.

I saw Bloodrayne couple of days ago. This movie is so unbelievably bad and ridiculous on any level that it has to be seen. I think it's one of the worst movies ever created ...

One good thing about this movie - Kristianna Loken (the chick terminator from T3) is topless in one stupid sex scene.

I recommend this movie for great laughs. Gather your friends, get beer (lots of it) and riff this piece of trash to shreds ... This applies to any Uwe Boll movies, BTW, Alone In The Dark is one the same level of stupidity - it has Tara Ried (dumb blonde model chick who played Bunny Lebowski in The Big Lebowski and played in couple of American Pie movies) as archeologist and the plot is much more incoherent.

M:I:3:The first one is still the best one. Why's that? 'cuz there was no love in the middle. Yeah, it has it scenes, good action, blah, blah, blah, but c'om! Ethan Hunt is not a mutant. 7/10.

just saw Da Vinci's Code.
didn't expect much from it, so i am satisfied. it's an OK movie, almost like a exact copy of the book. Honestly, i don't like the book very much either...still prefer Angels and Demons. They said they are going to make the Angels&Demons movie as well, and Tom Hanks is still Robert Langdon. well...no comments.
In fact, what makes me think the Da Vinci Code movie interesting, is that Fleur-de-lis sign everywhere...

Kontroll - A Hungarian, independent (?) movie with AWESOME atmosphere, impressive shoots and very talented young actors. The movie takes places in the subway of Budapest (how I like that place... :) ) and has kind of a surreal story. A team of controllers that almost never sees the daylight fights is way through a day of work. And they face killer that pushes its victims in front of the trains.

A masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
