Paraguay OUT, Sweden take a deserved win.

England get two excellent goals, Trinidad & Tobago played well but by the end were worn out by the constant attacking.

Deserved Swedish victory? I don't think so. Yes they attacked more, but that doesn't necessarily mean they played better. Paraguay's traditional style of play is defensive and counter-attacking, which partly explains the fact that they didn't go forward the whole time. I think a tie would have been the fairest result. And after Argentina, I was really cheering for Paraguay. I'm very sad to see them out. :( Paraguayans rule! They are very nice people.

Now, I hope England defeats Sweden and Trinidad defeats Paraguay; that way, Sweden could be out of the Cup. :D Not that I like England very much... I am Argentine after all! :D

Well I wanted Paraguay to go out, after that whole fiasco during the qualifying with Colombia (I'm half Colombian...) Anyhow, you can't take away the fact that Ljunberg was making some fantastic attempts and there WERE a few questionable offsides given.

It´s still unsure. They have a theoretical chances to continue if Sweden loses badly to England and if Trinidad can handle Paraguay with enough many goals.

So far I'm really disappointed from England. Both of their victories were very lucky.

Ok, halftime Argentina - Serbia&Montenegro... all I have to say is  3-0!!

Argentina is on fire. They're going to be one of the most dangerous teams in this competition, along with Czech Rep.

I pity any team that has to face them.

Argentina - S&M....

6 - 0

Un-fucking-believable. Argentina have shown class, style, focus and skill like no other team I've yet witnessed in this World Cup. Utterly astounding.

Stealth, my friend, remember my words? it was just matter of time...but, in the other hand, see what a bad game Mexico played

Congratulations Argentina, the first espectacular game in the whole world cup up to now.

Yes, Netherlands won Ivory Coast 2-1, which means that Argentina and the Dutch team are qualified to the next round. 8)

Today, Czech Republic against Ghana. I hope the Czechs will win. :)

I hope that Ecuador would win, but of course that seems to be quite imbossible. Well, but if Brazil wins, I'm happy also!

Go Ecuador and Brazil! :banana1:

Go Ghana! :) It would be nice to see an African team go far... There's too much talk about European teams. Many of them are overrated, and I'd like to see what the other teams can show.

WONDERFUL!!! Great passes by Ghana for a very deserved 2-0 win over the Czechs! :) Great stuff!
Now the Czechs will have a hard time making it to the round of 16 because they have three points like Ghana, but they have to play against Italy, while Ghana has to play against USA.

F*ckin´ Czech, that game was real shame on them. Only Cech played a good game... And now they lost Ujfalusi and Lokvenc too... Perhaps they don´t listen Strato anymore before the games? :? Maybe it´s good that they cannot qualify to the next round, as it looks Ghana could beat USA simply.

Ghana played a wonderful game which is really a refreshing surprise. They should now deserve to go to the next round!

Go Ghana and Shame on you fuck Czechs!

You´re right Stealth. Without the mistake Ujfalusi did etc a couple not so good players, Czech played quite good game today though. I wrote that because at first I felt very pissed about them.

I think Czech team didn't win because they lost Koller, who is one of the most important players in their team.
