Yep, those were his favs!;)
Plus, Playstation 1&2, a Game Boy&a Sega Game Gear.
He also had a Sega Dreamcast which we got on the Internet with!
He held on to the Nintendo64, though.
But, yes the SNES had the best games, IMO.
I must confess that I enjoyed those games, too&played them with my son quite a bit. I understood his "addiction" even though at times, I disapproved of the huge chunks of time he spent on them.
But, like I said before, at least he wasn't going out& geting into trouble---Gaming is a totally harmless addiction--except it can get pretty damn expensive!

Expensive ? You obviously don't know anything about Playstation! I think the PSOne opened the market for illegal chips
The Nintendo 8 bits console was really good.
The Super Nintendo is known to be the best console ever.
I have never been a fan of 32 bits or 64 bits console. I think that something is wrong with those. They tried to put 3D everywhere, but the hardware couldn't follow.
I'm not a big fan of 128 bits neither, but I have to admit that Playstation 2 is a wonderful console. XBox sucks big time. The box is huge, make a horrible noise and the games are too "Direct 3D" style !
The Gamecube. That's the only standalone console that I have, and I think it's great. really entertaining, typical for both children and adults. And it's cheap and small.
I bought it 2 years and a half ago cause the price dramatically decreased and I have always wanted to have Zelda The Wind Waker. I have quite many games but I hadn't really played, until few months ago, and since I spent all my time playing, until really late in the night. I'm so addicted
This morning, I saw some videos of under-development games for the Playstation 3. It really seems this console is going to be handsome !
