Trying to find a great band which has a unique style and approach to its music is a job for a very patient and observant man - or a pearl diver. In fact, it might be as hard as finding a pearl in the River Of Tuoni.

However, we at Twisted Talent have the great luck to have a few good pearl diggers around who came up one day with a Finnish band called Amberian Dawn. Mr. Jens Johansson himself, notorious keyboarder of Stratovarius and a real expert when it comes to good music gave us an important hint. Checking them out for the first time meant listening to their debut album River Of Tuoni... struck by the impressive virtuosity of guitar & keyboard player Tuomas Seppälä, the fragile & complex melodies and the clear, mellow voice of classical soprano singer Heidi Parviainen, it got more and more obvious to us, that we had found something very special!

Nice, glad to know Jens likes AD too!

So I've been really addicted to AD recently. I mean, badly. I've listened to their two albums pretty much exclusively for the last two weeks! Heidi's voice is just incredible, so sweet and delicate!

As announced before, keyboardist Jens Johansson (famed for his work with for example Stratovarius, Dio and Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force), opera singer Markus Nieminen and vocalist Peter James Goodman have contributed their talent to this album.

Yeah how awesome is that!
