Yeah, my girlfriend really has a way with children, she's studying medicine to become a psychiatrist and wants to specialise in working with kids. She's even dropped a few hints about wanting some

but yeah that's still a long way off

she's got another 6 years of studying to get through! That gives me time
Anyhow, this is us at a gothic/metal club in Munich when I was there last week:

So, you did "start all over again"? Or, did you and your other GF get back together?

In any case, congrats!
Yes, it takes lots of psychology to raise children successfully, at least, alot of common sense!

Still, there are bumps in the road of life and kids have their share of heartaches and pain to get through. The trick is to help them help themselves get through the problems with little damage to their life&psyche as possible. Vic scared me a couple times during his youth and teens, but through discussions, arguments, prayer, and compromise he arrived at early adulthood alive and with no bad baggage. Raising children is a wonderful experience, full of joy&love, but also trials and heartaches sometimes. What hurts them, hurts you. But, that happens when you love someone more than yourself who is a part of you, yet an individual.
Now, Vic has his own joy, and I am so proud&happy to watch (and help)with the process of his parenthood!
