Well, I dunno how schools are in your country, but in germany becoming teacher = commiting Suicide in most cases...

Quite right you are, my mom's a "Hauptschul"teacher which almost is suicide, but for whatever reason she gets along fairly well with those kids...some of them actually already develope criminal traits at an age like 12/13, hard to believe..., at least if you dont consider their social background.
But being a teacher on a "Gymnasium" is not that much of a problem I'd say, we wouldnt want people to think that Germany is a country with nothin but decadent adolescents
