Yes, this is pretty sad, I worked at Citibank from 1997 to 2003 and I can say it was the best work I had, I learnt a lot from it and grew professionally and personally. I still have good friends in there and are really worried as they are going to fire 25000 people worldwide

I'm working at a canadian bank now, that wasn't hit too much, but still we can feel that thing's aren't going that good either :?

Short on cash, some sell own body products

Pretty soon its not going to be easy living, not just in USA, but all over the world.
Laugh that off. Since many people think everything is such a damn joke. :buh:

The sooner get technology to use body products for energy the better. It would be awesome if there was an economical way to make use of everything.

The point is, some people are having it so hard economically that they are having to sell body parts. I find that very sad.
When people have to choose between buying a few groceries&a CD, what do you think they will choose?
When people have to choose between rent&internet, or telephone, what do you think they will choose?

Oh, skip it.

Just like many people say these days, "all people study is foolishness". And, that saying is being proven true more&more with every passing day.
And, we will all, the world over, pay for that attitude, too! It won't be so funny, either.

Actually, for computers, if people back in the 70s-80s were improving Ethernet signal technology instead of Token-Ring, we would be 50 years ahead because of the top-opening parabola graph in operating system developments!
However, technology is not the only thing that needs improvement. There are a lot of other issues right now that need attention in order for this recession to be exterminated.

I could have read the article, I was thinking about biowaste the first time. Like how the astronauts can turn their urine into water and how waste can be turned to fuel and fertilizer and more.

From the article, some of that seems to be nice work for those that can get it. It is work that helps people out and one has to hope that people get their payment emotionally and not just cash wise. It’s crazy to see what the costs of living can get to in areas and I think communities need to help each other as much as they can. While it’s hard to call some the lucky poor, some people are just more impoverish than others and get even less resources. It’s crazy to see the conditions mankind has created for itself and it just seems so cruel to think of the corrections that nature would have to make to give every living person a more equal life since so many would have to die.
