Oh god I love Finland
It sounds like a song Korpiklaani was playing before their set back in January

Heh, nice remix & video! This track "Oi Beibi" was a huge radio hit back in 1989 in Finland. Raptori's debut album sold over 80 000 units in 1989-90. But in order to get the point, you really need to understand the sexually abrasive yet humorous lyrics.

The 1st rock thrown again
Welcome to hell, little Saint
Mother Gaia in slaughter
Welcome to paradise, Soldier

Japan can blame nuclear annihilation for its insane culture. No other country has been the target of a nucelar attack so we can just chalk it up to that and give them the benefit of the doubt. Finland, however, can't use the cold as an excuse, because other countries up there don't do anything stra... wait, never mind.
One thing I have gathered from experience that I find oddly comforting is that to the best of my understanding, northern Europeans see us Mediterranean-types just as strangely as we see them.

Neon! This is a provocation!

First, we don't see you at all! Second! We are the norm for brilliant human beings. Perpendiculars. Occuring naturally. Having average intelligens, often free from mental disorders (with some very noticed exceptions). So respect if I may ask...for Finns- the crowns of humanity...

Oh don't get me wrong, I think Finnish people are great. Just some strange things happen up there, as they do down in warmer places... it's a different kind of strange, is all.
Also you don't tend to see Finnish people getting angry about much, but in Greece they're like, setting fire to banks on a regular basis and stuff.

We Finns burn inside, but don't show it for everyone. If you happen to see a burning Finn-a Perkelefinn- you can regard yourself as priviliged.

I've seen plenty of drunk Finns. I also witnessed Tommy Makkinen crash his rally car once, does that count?

OK It counts. I almost know that you are privileged. But, but, Jörg doesn't counts as drunken perkelefinn. He is German you know...

Mediterraneans think they know something about chilling with their siestas, long lazy days at cafés and shit.
We laugh at you. You are yet to know the true meaning of relaxation.

When we're not busy striking or destroying McDonald's outlets, of course.

I understand that you are talking about the earthquake in Tampere year2000-something. But honestly speaking, Neon, who, I just say who, took the mostdrunkenprice that night? Some of us will remember...

Yeah, my FinlandTrip of 2006 provided me with ample experience, plus living in a bus for a week with a bunch of Finns at the start of this year had a lot to do with my impressions too!

My home country doesn't even exist according to that map.
To be fair, we're left off of a lot of maps.
