Well, some really good ones are listed, but basicly it's time to head down to the neighborhood bookstore. Many of these movies ring a bell, made from the popular video games of the 1990's. Castlevania? Sounds cool but shouldn't it have been made about 10 years ago?

I recommend subscribing to pay TV, there's going to be some great shows on this year: Game of Thrones, Camelot, and The Borgias. Many of us won't even miss these mediorce movies!

I lost faith in Hollywood a long time ago. There were some great films winning Oscars this year (Black Swan was good, can't bring myself to watch the King's Speech, Inception was great as well) but it wasn't exactly a hard choice to pick films to be nominated with the amount of utter dreck being put out. Basically, create something crap, make it '3D' (there's the 'good' way of filming in 3D, like Avatar, and then there's the cheap, post-production way of filming it which looks awful) and put it out and it's still profitable. I read a great article about the current state of things a couple of days ago, I'll try to find it.

I love Castlevania. Especially the old game music. That rumor has been going on for years. Any video game that they turn into a movie turns into complete utter dog doo doo. IMHO, there is no reason to watch any new movies at all.

I googled this and the description sounds alot like Underworld. The cast for some reason has not been released yet.

Considering it's based on a video game from the 80's, not all surprising. Unless it has Kate Beckinsdale dressed in latex for a large portion of its runtime, I doubt it will be as enjoyable.

U R WEETEARTED NEA. Forgot to say there are probably a ton of good foreign films that are good that are coming out or already were out for years that a lot of people have never seen. With that said, there will always be a constant need for tons of shit movies that kids can go to. Rinse and repeat.

I was wondering the same thing!

My son asked me about Terminator 5, and the Highlander remake. When I told him they would not be out until 2014, he replied, "Shit, I may not be alive then! Man, 4 years to make a movie!" I read up on the T5 movie, and even it is not a sure thing---the franchise is having lots of legal problems after changing hands a couple times in just a few years. So worse case scenario, John Connor never destroys the Terminators.

Oh, well. Back to the real world. But, why are they doing a Gilligan's Island movie after all these years? I looked over this list again and there are some real stinkers in there!
Oh, did Jim Carrey finally agree to shave his head to play Curly in The Three Stooges movie? He was holding up the damn thing on that point alone. Asshole.

I can't. I just despise the royal family and everything it represents. They're an outdated relic of a bygone era and have no place in a modern society.
