Jens, I love what you wrote at the top of your website. A while back, with this 10th anniversary fast approaching, I was wondering if you were in NY when it happened. Well, that question was answered when I saw an interview of yours a few weeks ago. You said you were woken up by that?! That must have been so terrifying! I can't believe that plane had flown right over your apartment, and it makes me cry knowing that you saw that whole tragic scene up close. It was horrible enough seeing it on TV from here in Florida. I still think about what I was doing that day, going through my last week of training at ADT, excessive false alarms and all the other chaos going on. My heart goes out to all those who have been affected by this tragedy in any way. It's scary to know you were so close to it--thank goodness nothing happened to you! I'm so grateful that you're still with us and that I've gotten to know about you...*hug*

You must've read my mind, or I yours!

Thanks for asking Jens, I'd like to know that experience, too!!! It would be very interesting to know how someone felt during a historical event like that!

I haven't taken the metro today, but yesterday it was normal. No random bag checks or anything unusual except for the bathrooms being closed and delays (which is usual now).
The Smithsonian is taking some steps, though. If you have a bag with you you have to drop it off at the front desk. No exceptions.
Welp, other than that I hope everyone has a safe weekend.

Everyone here understood THIS a long time ago.

Seriously, you're annoying, girl!
Anyway
RIP to all who died that day, and our gratitude to all who risked their life helping others through this tragedy.

I know, RIGHT?!

I think he just added that nice little 9/11 message at the top--I didn't notice anything else different...@NeverEndingAbyss--they have extra security at the football game here today, but things seem to be going OK...

Uh, I'm not being annoying--you obviously took what I said and twisted it around. I said to him "I love what you wrote", not "I love you"...There's nothing wrong with what I said...

Oh, yeah--it's still the Panix one...I've noticed that the only thing that constantly changes are the random quotes, and some of those are pretty freakin' funny! I tried to ask Jens if HE came up with some of them...

And by the way, I'm listening to Elysium right now...\m/

Yepp, the last proper update seems to be in 2005.
