Yeah, you're right. Also, there were a bunch of little earthquakes in the Midwest yesterday, which would have given the Pagans and Bible thumpers alike something to discuss!
But, I don't think it's funny to the Okies who lived there, though.

Yeah and a huge one in Turkey just a few weeks ago but I guess that since it didn't happen in America it doesn't really exist.

"a few weeks ago" I think is the defining term. Of course we knew it existed, the story was on the news every night for two weeks! Don't be such a smartass about it, you do not live in Turkey, either!
I was just mentioning those earthquakes because they happened at a much closer time with the astroid fly-by on Tuesday.

This particular asteroid is not a planet killer, but it would be a pain in the ass for a while if it did hit Earth. Produce 70-foot tidal wave, 7.0 earthquake, and a crater 4-miles in diameter. Odds are it would hit Oklahoma---they had bad tornadoes yesterday on top of everything else.
WTF are they getting bullied by Mother Nature for?
