Everything always comes to an end eventually, that's why people need to try to live each day to the fullest, and enjoy what time they have with those they love, and just with life in general. I know that is sometimes hard to do given that most of us have to live among others, everyone with their diverse personalities, troubles, and quirks. But, life is too short to live too long in sadness because if a person dwells in sadness too long it takes the soul over, and depression is the result. But, life given what it is, sadness is normal sometimes. A person, even an optimist, cannot be happy ALL the time.

Sadness=abuse to children, and women, slavery still exists in some parts of the world, exploitation, bullying, starvation, wars, terminal illness.Etc.

Man it pisses me off when I see these fluffheads on TV worry so much about gaining 5 pounds, seeing a little wrinkle and going ballistic, worrying to death over split ends or a few gray hairs, etc. Shut the fuck up! I say. What would these numbheads do if they had REAL problems?

^^ This.

Ones sadness is entirely based on their perception. Unfortunately we try to degree the level of sadness based on what we believe to be its intensity.

Its wonderful how adaptable we are as humans. The side effect of sheilding ourselves from certain experiences is that perceived less "severe" ones that we do encounter (ie: the creampuffs gaining 5 lb) seem so horrible.

Its all the minds way of living life. We cannot avoid sadness by sheilding ourselves, we must rather learn to make conscious choices on how best to deal with it. For some its unfortunately spiralling down in depression, however others pick themselves up & dust themselves down & keep moving.

Anyway, thats my take on it all. Not gospel by any means.

:( And just in your recently acquired prosaic view of the beautiful, soaring, vague impression of nomnomnoms, lies the sadness. Life changes us and you don't look at it from the bright side, in this new avatar.

How can you? Couldn't the thing (no name, no shame) stay as an usually hidden part of the body?Must you show its red ugliness so ostentatiously and talk about the more metaphysical nomnomnoms at the same time? IN THE SAME POST!

When we touch the world
And it falls away
When we feel that we're born
Just to fall apart
And our mother lies in state
And the broken pitcher glistens
And the snow is at the window
Creating neither sign nor symbol
And the earth covers earth
And the mud lies in pools

Where the sand-dunes stretch unbroken
And the dry wind bends and sighs
And the geese are running harmless
And our desires are running wild
Then we're looking at the smoke
That's rising from the incense
Neither coming here nor going
Neither heaven here nor hell
Neither borning here nor birthing
Neither dying here nor death

And we're wrapped inside our troubles
And we're wrapped inside our pain
And wracked with fires with longing
And our eyes are blind with night
With our fingers clutching coins
And our thoughts burning with 'I'
And our eyes cannot be sated
With the world and its nightmares
With the world and its dreams
Though later they'll be filled
With a small handful of dust
And the gods appear on the altars
And we recognise their face
It's a face that we have carved there
And it's full of fear and longing
And promises and threats
But they neither stoop to conquer
Nor do they stoop to praise
And the mines are void of diamonds
That we carry in our rags

Then all the world seems
A sadness song
And all the world seems
A sadness song

All our endeavours in this life will wither away into nothingness and no one will remember us unless we are Jens and make incredible music. The chance even then is really slim. Our children will die, etc. And we'll become one with the star soup.

Light-years will always separate the minds and thoughts of two living organisms, so no matter how close you are with someone, you will always be alone, typing things at 1am into a forum for 10-20 people to read maximum.

No human will land on mars on this lifetime. Also wars will always be a profitable business. Ripe fruits.

We will never experience the world as a red hummingbird, living every day just for the next flower. Or the pigeon that won't ever let the rain reach the egg. Even the perspective of a white-back cockroach is out of our reach, hiding in the holes.

The knowledge that was contained inside the Mayan codexs is definitely lost from the moment the fucking Granadians burned them. Alexandria too.

No human will ever fuck Lassie from the movie Lassie.

etc.

:( You read and write too many verses. Dear sister.
If you say a lie many many times it will be a truth.

You need prozac.

My husband totaled his car the other day, the bitch who ran into him did not have any insurance and she is nowhere to be found, she had fled. Nobody can find her, not our insurance company, not the police, we have even searched for her online and she is literally gone off the grid! :x :x :x We think someone is trying to pull something crooked, and we are investigating now. Meanwhile, my husband dipped into our savings and bought a new Buick. I am not only sad, but pissed off royally :x :x :x :x :x :x thankfully our insurance company transferred our remaining insurance monies into the new car's account so we have three months not to worry about a new policy. Now, what to do with the wrecked car in impound? I guess we will have to sell it for junk to pay the impound fees! :x :x :x :x

Now, how is your life? :(
