Lol, his live renditions of Kiske-songs sound like crap these days (some would argue they always did), but the later songs, composed with his voice in mind, are still great.

Thanks, sounds great. Even with such a crap quality.

I like it.

But I fear however that once again there's no real progression or evolution. I've had this feeling since Rabbit Don't Come Easy. Helloween sounds a tad the same every album since that one.

yeah i might agree on that, but that is the thing that also keeps the fans coming for more, i mean you can say the same thing about many bands, all of them having success in the own right, like the stones, aerosmith, maiden, megadeth...

Looks like the cover of some Nintendo Wii game. Doesn't matter though, Helloween is no stranger to terrible cover arts.

They really should play more Andi-songs. Something from The Dark Ride, but I heard they don't like it...

I honestly think that Andi Deris could give a damn good show if he performed music ranging from Master of the Rings to 7 Sinners.
I really would pay money to see them live if they covered songs they never usually touch these days, like The Game is On and other material from the first three Deris era albums.

boooooooooooooo
Play more stuff from Master of the rings, Time of the oath, The Dark Ride and Keepers Legacy. The rest of Deris albums at Helloween sucks

I'm honestly not a fan of anything past The Dark Ride (other than a couple of songs), but I know that quite a lot of people like the later stuff and it's not like they play much of it live anyway.

i dont know what is the deal with 3D stuff, nothing beats the iron maiden covers from the 80s, painted stuff is way more interesting and better than this crap, i think is an obvious choice but...

In my opinion those are the four best albums with Andi.

Agreed. I actually bought Helloween albums with better looking cover first. Back then I only knew couple of songs from Keepers I & II, so those two were the first. After those I saw The Time of the Oath, bought it just because cool artwork. Same with Walls of Jericho, I bought it right after TTOTO.

It's been out for a while now, so any opinions?
Personally I love how this sounds a lot more like the happy happy Helloween of the first 2-3 Deris albums, instead of the most recent downtuned albums.
Burning Sun is by far my favourite, but Nabataea, World of War and Make Fire Catch the Fly are pretty cool as well.

Much, much better than the last album!
My favorite Helloween albums are still the 90s ones with Deris, like Master of the Rings and Better than Raw.

I just realised: if Helloween keeps this line-up for at least one more album, the current one will become longest lasting Helloween line-up ever with 5 studio albums.
This cool story was brought to you by bro.

It actually already is. The late 90s lineup only released 4 albums.

Do you count Unarmed? If so, I think you should also count Metal Jukebox, which would make them tied again.

I did not count unarmed.
Rabbits, Keepers, Gambling, 7 Sinners and Straight out of Hell
Edit: I see that Loble didn't join until immediately after recording Rabbits, however Keepers WAS a double album. So that would be a tie breaker for me.

Actually I think it was Stefan Schwarzmann who joined immediately after and was then preplaced by Dani when they starte recording The Legacy.
Mikkey Dee and Marc Cross played on the Rabbit.
