Yes. time to make the annual yule log, and wait for the solistice to see if the Mayans were right.

If we survive all the stupid believers have to suck my dick.
And vice versa, of course.

Re: December is the time for Pagan traditions
I'll be flying to Colombia on 21st December, so if the world ends I'll see it from above!
It's great to be there for xmas - weather is a hell of a lot nicer than London, I can tell you. Plus nice to see family and stuff.
NYE nothing planned yet, as I'll be back in London, but on 30/12 I'll be seeing the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky at the English National Ballet, which should be great. I have a feeling NYE itself will involve a house party and a lot of beer, which is fine by me.
Any of you have any crazy traditions?

Re: December is the time for Pagan traditions
My "crazy tradition" is that every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I re-read Lord of the Rings, and then watch all 3 of the movies on Christmas Day. Only this year is extra special with The Hobbit movie!

I'm not always successful; sometimes I have to watch the rest the next day. Or catch up on New Year's Eve or something.
