Server move

The stratovarius.com server apparently has moved from the machine 'monaco' (I think this was in a datacenter in Los Angeles close to LAX) to 'southampton' (Ashburn, Virginia, US). Supposedly the LAX datacenter will eventually be shut down.
The IP used to be (maybe still is for you depending on dns) 69.163.236.242. Should in the future become something like 208.113.168.64.
No idea if it will be come more reliable or less reliable, please just mail me if there are any problems..
cheers

DEAR Jens,
Yesterday, I was horsing around the old server location and I can say that the place was strangely positioned, plenty of ducks, full of stolen guitars and plenty of sumerian code. I understand the movement. The new server in Assburn contains some kind of antiwalrus security created by Dorothy TTTeam ©
Some antisumerian bb code would be appreciated too. They are working on it.
Greetings from Santa Clarita.

From a blue state to a red state, that's nice.
Seriously, last night this forum was down for several hours. I did not know if it was down "on purpose", or if my dial-up had became even more sluggish than usual.

Virginia isn't necessarily a red state

Well, it technically is. Only Northern VA is blue. Most of the votes, however, come from that area. Anything south of Prince William's county is a backward red shithole.

You know nothing of red shitholes until you've wiped your butt with sandpaper.

Funny thing is that Southern California is split pretty evenly.

Do you mean geographically? By total # of voters I would say, strongly liberal.

Little more OT:
Did you know that if Europe could have voted in US president election, Obama had got over 80% of all votes.

I'm surprised Kern County is on that map; that's where I live and it's considered "Central California".
69% of folks here voted for Mitt Romney, if that gives you any indication as to why I consider this place hell.

Doesn't surprise me--Obama rates high on foreign policy. Most world leaders like him.
