I just experienced a small earthquake, but it's the biggest earthquake I ever felt. i got scared big time. Ran out of my apartment with no top on. I was hearing the neighbor crying like someone's been killed or something. Was pretty scary. But then, nobody else was leaving their apartment, so I figured that it's normal around here.
Still don't know what the crying was about tho. They're laughing now...
edit: maybe they were laughing really loud and I interpreted that as crying.

Sometimes my husband lets farts that sound like an earthquake rumbling but a real earthquake is no laughing matter.

I guess everyone was relieved it wasn't worse, hence, the nervous laughter. Do alot of tremors happen in that area, or is this kinda rare? I know every couple years we have a tremor here, maybe 2 or 3 on the Richter scale usually from New Madrid faultline.

well I asked my friend, and she said it's the second one this year. She said it happens about 2 or 3 times a year.

What scale was it? Anything below a 4 isn't worth getting out of bed for.

				http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nati ... s/3323215/
in the article it says "In Taipei, the capital, buildings swayed for more than 10 seconds and startled residents ducked for cover."
to me, it felt more like 3 seconds

There hasn't been anything above a 4 in years in my bed.

Oh, we are talking earthquakes here.

Well, that explains a few things. Or maybe ~27,000 things.

Well, sort of single. I was separated from my husband for many years but things change, and people change and we got back together. He's not the foul-tempered know-it-all that was his trademark many years ago. Plus at 62 years old he realized he had better change, his health is not so good any more, and he finally realized people don't have to tolerate a dysfunctional personality in a person. It took him long enough to grow up. The bad thing is he passed some of his defective personality traits onto our son who is having some issues of his own in life. But, that's another story.

Oh dear! Are you also a victim for his bad memory?

In my case it is somewhat understandable. It was very long ago and he was drunk beyond recognition, when the earthquake occurred. But he had the presence of mind to take some photos, of the devastation. ( He showed them on this Forum as proof, something he also seems to have forgotten)
But now he doesn't even remember you? Incredible! His speed must be a little erroneous-Neon ,jaja !
