as I was walking down the street after finishing teaching today, since it's friday, I decided to give myself a treat. So I saw this relatively fancy restaurant in a relatively rich neighborhood. There's a nice Volkswagen dealership here, and in this neighborhood is the first time I saw a porshe. And today I saw a Mercedes. So I guess it's a rich neighborhood.

As I was sitting on my table, I looked around me and it seemed the clients were all rich, just by looking at their faces or something.

I ordered a small dish of fried calmaris, which cost me 10$ !!! that's a lot here for what they gave me. And they even took a 1.50$ "service fee" !!! i've never heard of a restaurant getting tips here.

oh well, was worth it. I felt rich for 30 minutes.

Well, you have the right to enjoy a great expensive meal as much as anyone else. Every once in a while I don't see the harm in it. However, if money is tight I would not eat out like that too often. But, as a treat to reward yourself or something, go ahead and splurge sometimes!

There's Ladyboys in Las Vegas, too and New Orleans, on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter.
They are everywhere, even in little hick towns like Mayberry. And, they don't look like Corporel Klinger, either.

today as I was walking down the same street, I saw a posse of about 6 Buddhist monks with the robes and all. they got in the same fancy restaurant. Although I don't know if they went in for the restaurant, or the bakery next to it. I came back like 30 seconds after they got in, to see where they went, and I couldn't see them. They probably got in a secret buddhist passage or something.

edit: passage means like an entry point. dictionary.com says "a channel, opening, etc, through or by which a person or thing may pass".
we use that word a lot in french. do you use it in english too?
