Announcement on April 1st. Their last album was 2011's Blood Alliance and they called it a day in 2012, and had a couple sparse last shows in 2013. This timer came out of nowhere, some cryptic messages on their Facebook the last few days.

Power Quest was one of the greatest power metal bands around and they never got the success or recognition they deserved. Proudly imported their albums from Japan brand new, bought merchandise overseas, I still love the fuck out of this band, Neverworld and Magic Never Dies are two of the greatest power metal albums ever.

Wonder what's so special it deserves a long countdown. Hope they're back. Hope it's another album. God I can dream.

April 1st is April fools day.

I only ever heard the Master Of Illusion album. Got it as a bday present back in the day. Can't remember much of it though.
