Stratovarius Community

I found out several months late that he passed away from natural causes. Really sad to hear about it. He was active contributor to the forum for years. Its incredible how people can be here one day and gone the next.

I don't know much about the circumstances of his passing unfortunately. He was in his early 50's and lived in Tennessee. A really intellectual guy with a great sense of humor.

He was the Southern boy of this forum. I remember him nailing me any time I had an opinion. RIP.

I swear I have seen him commenting on Tolkki's Facebook a while ago. May he rest in peace with his 72 virgins.
The strato guys had him on their FB, maybe they would be kind enough to post some thoughts?

I can't say that I knew Miditek very well (I never interacted with him), although I do recall seeing that username while reading through old Stratoforum posts. RIP.

Yes....he made a habit of making everything political and called Obama “obongo” or something. Carried guns on him in public and bashed religions other than Christianity. Never seen any other side of him than that.

I was just searching through miditek's posts and I came across a thread called "The Obama Thread: All Things Obama". I also came across a Doro-related thread that had me really laughing my ass off (topic ID: 11145). The title of the thread itself, as well as the first sentence of the OP, hit me hard.

I just went in the flames section.

Anyway, it is what it is. I still respect the guy and its sad to see him go.

Regarding the earlier question, i just googled his name and found his obituary.

RIP Miditek. Never had a direct conversation with him, but as strongminded and keen to debate as he was, he was one of us and contributed to make this forum unique.

Wow I don't know the last time I logged in, but I was listening to a lot of Stratovarius lately and felt like lurking around a lil bit on this board and then I saw these bad news and immediately decided to log in. I'm really sad to hear Miditek pass. I can't recall too many things from the old days anymore, it's been a long time I was active, but I do remember him as an active part of our community. May he rest in peace!

I don't think I ever talked with him, but I surely remember him
