I heard about that kind of thing several years ago and I'm curious if it's even viable now. Wouldn't the latency be absurdly high?
My internet speed is 2 megabits per second on a good day, and I'm not exaggerating either. I can only watch YouTube videos on 360p, and that's in best case scenarios where I'm the only one using the internet at that time.
My internet is actually pretty fast & no data-cap whatsoever. 230.22 mbps (28.78 MiB/s) download (avg). 18.05 mbps (2.26 MiB/s) upload (avg.). Tested with this: https://www.speedtest.net/
What do you guys think of Counter Strike? I used to play 1.6 quite a bit, back in the day.
Sorry, never played it. I knew a kid in middle school who used to play it frequently, though. Cod4 was my back-in-the-day game, along with Halo 3 (around middle school age). Ah, good times!

I love horror games too. Yea, the gameplay's easy to get into, regular wasd first person. At the beginning, you don't have weapons so you have to sneak around. But I had to look up walkthroughs a lot though, some parts are not obvious. If you get stuck, let me know. Again, the steam version is buggy and you can't patch it. The gog version is cheap, like $5.
Have you played Alien Isolation? Lots of sneaking around in that game.

I'm a huge fan of Fallour 1 & 2, but I don't really like Fallout 3. Fallout 3 was made by Bethesda. But, Fallout New Vegas was made by Obsidian, and many of the Fallout 1 & 2 employees worked on it. Guess what, I enjoyed Fallout New Vegas much more than Fallout 3, before knowing the fact that the old developers worked on it.
I've been trying to get these HD mods to work..but realize the updated version I have isn't compatible. So I used the built in mod capability for some lighting effects. I had fun with that game escaping my reality of cooming back years ago. I never was into it when it came out. Took me years to play it.
